I have no idea what to look for, but I'm wanting to put a passenger mounting bracket and pegs on my slim. The harley set is $130! That's without pegs too, is there a cheaper option, like j&p cycles? Just not sure what to look for.
Not really very difficult - the mount kit is easy and I agree with the black vs chrome - the mounts themselves aren't that visible - for attaching the pegs use something just slightly smaller than the peg mount pin they supply to help line it all up so you can get the pin in easier.
Enjoy!
What tool is used to take the original passenger foot peg out and back in? I have been searching the whole internet trying to find out. Thanks.
Not exactly sure what you're asking, but you remove the snap ring from the
"pivot" pin, remove the pivot pin & dont loose the halfmoon spring tensioner,
then you have access to an allen head bolt that fastens the "mount" to
the frame.
As mentioned previously, RonniesHD has microfiche parts drawings that show
all of this. Might consider looking them up...
