2014 deluxe
so after 2 years of screwing around with my wife's trike conversion I have hit the wall. we purchased a kit from American trike this was one hell of a mistake. so that said, I need a pair of steel fenders. this may sound simple but the recommended tire size was 225/55/16 so we bought custom wide white walls and 100 spoke wheels. after one of many discussion with American trike I was notified that that size tire is what fits their body kit. we are not using a body kit. so exhaustive search of the net has led me to a single fender available from phantom customs. so why not order 2 well they are back ordered with no time line on new stock. I bought a set of fenders and added 3 inches in the center problem solved .no such luck the painter I chose will not use the fenders I built. so if I can not locate 11 inch wide soft tail deluxe style rear fenders guess I will have to pick a new painter. so if anyone knows where I can get a set of fender I would really appreciate it

So the trike is home safe and sound. Found a painter who may do the paint. So went back over the body work and reworked the brackets to include an inner stiffening bracket. Went to the powder coater to get the quote for the fender brackets. Just have to finalize the fender paint and the thing is mechanically done ready for next season. Still have to figure out the wiring for the lights on the fenders but the home stretch has been reached
