For your consumption only
I was doing some web surfing looking for information on Harley engine testing and stumbled across this article. I don't know who the author is or anything about him, but found it "interesting" reading. He does touch on a few things that we've had treads on, so I though I'd post the link. I will say I've got over 50K miles on my bike and ride with a guy that's got over 80K miles and neither of us have run into any of these problems...knock on wood.
This is only for your consumption and I'm not promoting any of what this guy says..

This guy is a ****ing idiot. Cam tensioners are a wear item and part of maintenance just like brakes. If they fail under warranty, then HD will fix them. Anyone that doesn't own a Harley due to cam tensioners deserves whatever else they choose to ride. How many Harley Twin Cam motorcycles are on the road? If there was a major 'defect' I'm sure that you would see a class action lawsuit.
