With all this cutting windshield talk, I'm going to give it a go tonight! Thing drives me nuts. The top is right smack in my line of sight. I'm thinking of dropping it almost 3 inches. I rode to work today with a piece of masking tape where I believe the cut should be. I almost forgot it was there! It is about chin level for me. That way my head is above the shield at all times. I'm sure I'll get more wind this way but I'd rather have wind and see vs minimal wind and a pain in the a$$ trying to see.

DID IT!
Came out great!

I took 3 1/4 inches off the top! I LOVE IT!
I can ride AND see where I'm going without feeling like I have bi-focals on!

Diane could not tell that I had evencut it! IS it perfect? No. You'd be very hard pressed to tell that I cut itthough!

Thanks to the folks that documented and took picture of the process!
cheers!
