Wrinkle/texture black.
Thought I'd update. Bought some Krylon Wrinkle paint at the auto store. Had a new access. to paint. Outside Temp. was 90+, Clear sky, no humid.. Sprayed 3 good solid layers on at one time (8-12 inches away) , Placed in Direct sunlight and watched as within 10 minutes the 5x8 inch area wrinkled beautifully. sprayed the edges, turned each of them toward the direct sunlight (in turn) and they all wrinkled beautifully.
Have to say I did get better results from the Krylon then the HD paint... although with the HD paint I had a temp. around 80 and partly cloudy, not the direct heat of the sun.

I saw a bike like that a few weeks ago. It seemed to hold up well, but looked a little goofy with the texture all over the bike.
If you want an exact match, check out the web site below. I have all of the stock Harley powder coat colors and textures and can have your parts on their way back to you in a matter of a day or two. By the way, Harley engines and tranny's are powder coated either textured black or textured silver sparkle. The oil bag, engine covers, etc. on the Night Train and some other models are a 20% gloss wrinkle black. If you purchased the touch up paint for the engine you will not get the results you're looking for.

jeez powdercoater...I wish I knew about you before I did all my changes...
I had to buy everything new because the powdercoaters here don't know smack about what holes to plug or what areas not to powdercoat so the part will go back together....
well, I'll keep ya in mind for later projects.....

For painting access., the Krylon paint is as perfect a match as you can get....I'm sure the powder coating is much more durable (and your prices do look very reasonable)... but for the average grunt you can not distinguish the difference.

The Krylon is number "3370 JET BLACK" "WRINKLE FINISH". Again follow my instructions above for best results...hot and "full sun" blaring down on painted part.
