I have a Fatboy so I know how the wind can move you . I just slow down. What you have to watch where I ride with high winds is what is going to blow into the road . A tree branch ,garbage can ,etc.

I even hated passing 18 wheelers on the Fat Boy.

The only bike I've owned that didn't get bother much by a strong wind was the ultra limited but all my other bikes including my 09 road king was not so good in high winds. Bikes like people all have their quirks but it is something your learn to live with and appreciate. I could not care less what some other guy bike can do because there is absolutely nothing to me better than what I ride. I understand my ride isn't good at everything but it is great for me and that's all that matters.

A crosswind doesn't bother me as much as a strong headwind, every time i ride into a strong headwind I think there is something wrong with the bike.

Not really. I think you'll find that the Rocker will "self-correct" pretty well in gusty crosswinds, just like most bikes, if you relax a little bit and let them do their thing. Fear and an iron grip won't allow it to self-correct.

Sounds like rider inexperience more than anything. As others have said, work your way up to it, and don't go blasting with your buddies until you're ready.

Like said before, it's riding the bike youre on. Learn to do it. The wind won't blow you over and out of lane unless you let it.
