Feeling all warm and fuzzy
With cold weather arriving now and having froze my fingers many times last winter I decided to purchase some Gerbings heated gloves and a jacket liner. It was in the low 40's this morning and having just received them last night I had to try them out.
These things are great. The gloves are extremely comfortable and would likely be warm on their own. I wore a short sleeve t shirt under the liner and then my leather jacket. I had to play around with the temp controller as these things heat up fast and are warm. I got the dual controller so glove temp can be warmer than the jacket. These things just work.
No more stinging cold hands and no more multiple layers of shirts under the leather for me. I much prefer riding in cool to cold weather than the blazing heat and now I will be able to ride all winter in comfort.
I give the Gerbings two warm thumbs up.
50 to 70 degree is my favorite air temp for riding a.k.a. spring and fall.
gearing up with heated gear not only improves comfort, it also is a safety investment.
panic stop/evasive maneuvers are dangerous enough on you when your comfortable but when your freezing your nuts off........ it's skeevy changing time!
the warmth of the hands and toes are critical to keeping comfortable. money well spent IMO
