I wonder if the pop up gas caps would fit a 2008 Night Train? I have been looking at some of those. Any idea?

pretty sure they will. They are for standard fat bob tanks, left and right

I'm sure this is a stupid question, but how do they mount? My left side is a fuel gauge, was yours? I really don't care to lose that POS anyway.

they just screw in , no fuel gauge.

You can pop the fuel gauge right out with a swift pull. Just unplug it first.
