This is an LX-007 Lepera Bare Bones. This is my 3rd one of these. I have had them on several bikes. Lean mean and low are the best words to describe them. I bought this one with the idea of covering it in gator and putting on my Deluxe. Bottom line is I just dont love it on the Deluxe and prefer the solo look of the stock seat with Springer grab rail.
This seat is brand new...only used a few times. No wear or anything...even on the carpet underneath. Comes in original Lepera wrap and box. New retail is $179. I will sell this one for $120 shipped anywhere in the lower 48. Paypal preferred (please add 3%)
Thanks

I believe any Softail with a 150 or narrower rear tire and 2000 and newer. This one goes on my 06 Deluxe and I have had one on a 03 Night Train and one on an 03 Heritage. I think the 200 rear softails require a different part number.
Strat- How would you say the cushion on the Bare Bones compared to the cushion on the factory '03 Heritage seat? I've got an '04 Heritage. Guess I would need to get a leather strap thingy to put on the rear fender to go where the stock passenger pillon would be.
Thanks!
J
The bare bones has very little cushion...thats why it looks so good. It will not be nearly as comfy as your Heritage seat. I had a 2003 Heritage Softail Classic and I would switch out seats when riding solo and 2-up. I also had Bubbas quick detach kit on my bags and Harley detachable side plates for the sissy bar. I could go from 2-up touring to bar hopper in a few minutes with no tools. In order to do this, you need to lose the grab strap. Anyway, the Bare Bones is a great seat for solo riding.
Thanks for the answer. It would look totally sweet but gotta have some cushion for my old ****. I don't know why but for some reason I can't get comfortable on the stock seat. Been looking at the usual suspects...Corbin, Mustang, etc etc.
