Default 18" 80 Spoke Softail Front Wheel & Tire

I bought this wheel on FleaBay a month or two ago intending to mount it on my Road King.
The seller said he'd had it on one but now I don't believe him.
I screwed up & left feedback before I knew for sure it was all gonna work.
(I know, stupid.)
Anyway, it didn't fit properly so I took it to my HD dealer to see what it DID fit.

They said it's a Softail wheel.
It's 18 X 3.5 & has a Dunlop K177 wide whitewall on it balanced with Dynabeads.
It has 1" bearings.

I can provide any measurements you'd like, just ask.
My husband is a machinist & he can give you REALLY precise measurements.

As you can see, it really is a beautiful wheel.
I'm sooo disappointed it won't work on my bike.
There is a little bit of chrome peeling on the hub (about 1/4" X 1/2") but you can't see it once it's mounted, especially if that turns out to be the side the rotor is on. There are a few tiny peeled spots near where the spokes meet the hub too but I totally would run this wheel. It's beautiful.
I can send you closeup pics of those parts if you'd like.

$350 shipped.

Hi, is the hub wider on one side over the other? Softails don't have dual flanges on the front, only touring models. Maybe a rear wheel?

Yes, the hub is wider on one side.

I appreciate any help in determining what this belongs on.
I really want to represent it accurately.
Thanks!

Well, just took it to the dealership today & the jury is in!
It is definitely a front wheel - the bolts in the rear wheels are larger.
I asked about the dual flanges & they told me that Softails do have them but HD sells a plate that covers them for people that wanna just run one rotor.
It fits all Softails, 2000 up except Springers & Deuces, and fits Fatboys 2000 - 2006.
I'll be happy to furnish more pics.
Just e-mail me at julie@juliescoggins.com.

Here's the wheel on E-Bay.
It ends Monday night.
