Guys - you are too much - we have a great thing going here... this forum is tight knit for a reason, we are all equals... everywhere else we are step children but here in our house we are equals... I therefore must respectfully decline any nomination for president or captain or anything else that has single point authority. No this group shall have no hierachy only proud Deuce riding brothers (and sisters although I don't think we have one of them here) - ring leader is fine because that just signifies the head pot stirrer - that title I gladly accept.
seems to be running stronger and stronger as it breaks in. i can tell you that its got a lot more power than before but i've only really tested it on the hiway at about 70....jumped up to 100 real quick!....a little more break-in time and she'll be running even stronger. i think it needs heads and a bigger carb to really get the big power out of it.....guess thats next, better start saving my pennies....lol
Well, I picked up my new Deuce a week ago. I have a few pics to post on it but I'm having trouble getting them to post. I got the avatar cut down enough to upload. If anyone could post some advice, I would appreciate it. I took the day off yesterday to install a set of V&H BSS, Powerpak & a Ness Big Sucker. Wow, what a PITA but well worth the trouble when I got done. The bike runs quite a bit cooler and my seat dyno says its a little more responsive.
For what it's worth... I want to thank several of you in this very thread! Because of you I opted to go with the Deuce & punt the bagger. I have a long list of mods bases on several peoples bikes & will be working on pretty much all summer. I hope you don't mind if I send some of you pm's for advice?
