Rain????whats that????i kinda miss rain, it never rains here! let us know how it runs with the new carb, i'm real interested.....
ORIGINAL: Crazy Canuck
At the moment I have the Avon Venom X 180/55ZR18 (74W) which is 187mm.
Not much of a difference with a 200 but that half inch will surely help for the eye candy. Put on my carb today. But due to the rain I couldn't take her for a ride.
Deuce Dude!
I had a chance to try my Mikuni today and all I have to say is "DAMN!!"
I don't know why I didn't shoot for this mod earlier. Realy responsive
and pulls alot more than the stock one. I highly recommened it.
I just have a stock Deuce right now except for a ostrich seat but I'm just starting the process of updates.
I just purchased a set of Slash-Ness undercut pipes. Does anyone know how these things sound or perform or even look on a deuce?
I understand it sounds stupid to ask after I bought them but they were new in the box and I paid 200 bucks so I figure I can sell them on ebay if they were not good pipes. Never purchased any arlen ness stuff before so I just don't know if you are paying for the name or not.
Thanks!
Where's the best place to buy one of those carbs, what's the part number? I'm thinking about having heads ported this winter, should do carb at same time.
Just came back from a good ride and I'm loving this carb. I tried
every possible combo with my stock carb and never did I get the
performance I'm getting now. Low and midrange has good pull and
top end is almost similar but a touch better. Don't get me wrong.
It's not like adding a turbo but you will definitly notice the improvement.
The parts # that's on the box is Easy Kit 42-18. I got it at my local
parts dealer. Not HD but a familly run business I go to.
