Same with the lenses buddy. 8 to 10 days as well. Hope they fit
good. Merry Christmas man.
denv, thanks for your quick reply, spoke to my dealer today and he fitted a continental 180/55ZR17 to a deuce last week, fitted no problem so I'll run with that. Mother you've inspired me to lower mine a little more, its always a compromise between looks and ride unless you go air ride i guess. We have great twisting winding roads where i live and they can be quite bumpy and rough at times so the extra height comes in handy, but screw it, I look at yours and look at mine and yours looks killer, mine dont so down she comes. I can always wind her up if its no good.
Depending on your pipes you will run a risk of scraping on occasion bringing it down as low as I did. I've already scraped my pipes a couple of times. It didn't leave any damage that you can see unless you're under the bike, so I'm not worried about it and don't have plans toraise it back up at allanytime soon. Of course, I live in Florida, and we have a distinct lack of twisty roads.
Mother i already have a flat about 1 inch long on the leading edge of the scallop on the front cylinder pipe, pipes are big radius. Not much i can do about it when you ride quick on the roads i ride on, maybe i should slow down. I luv pushin her through the corners and sweepers and leaning her right over, front tyres knackered on the sides after 7500k's and the rears not far behind it.
I have a braided fuel crossover line that i put on and didnt like ,if anyone wants it let me know ! It has been laying around collecting dust and i am sure someone could put it to good use.
