The priceon their website is$699 and they come withheat shields and removable baffles. I bought mine almost 5 years ago for around $550. They didn't have baffles at the time and didn't make the heat shields until a couple years later. The heat shield covers about half the length of the pipe, so if you don't get them internally ceramic coated you might seea littlediscoloration where the pipe steps up to 2" but nothing a little Blue Job can't take care of. They sound mean, give me a power boost and most of all they're unique. 5 years ago Martin Bros only offered 4 or 5 styles. Some of their newerpipes are RSD for the wide tire customs. The Slickstas IIare made for left side drive. A buddy of mine had those on his Big Dog Chopper....very cool.ICC(internal ceramic coating) is a coating inside the pipe tohelp prevent discoloration.

I ordered BR's when I bought my bike but the salesman told me they were on back order. I didn't want to wait so Martin Bros. was my second choise. V&H makes a great set of pipes but like you said MT, every Harley has them.

I'm shooting down to my dealer tomorrow morning to price some pipes out. I think it's time to switch it up. I'll keep you guys posted I saw some Bassini that I liked as well. I'm mainly concerned with sound and performance.
