Hey fellas, just a heads up on a prob i had with my bike recently. Bike was taking longer to start eg turning over a few more times before firing and it developed a slight miss, probably once or twice every tank load of fuel. Then i noticed when i turned ignition on and fuel pump started it sounded noisier, the fuel pump that is. Sounded like something in the tank.
Anyway pulled the pump and sender out of the tank and found a pin hole in the fuel line where the line had been rubbing on the inside of the tank. The noise i was hearing was the fuel squirting up and hitting the inside of the tank. Losing fuel pressure so was taking longer to start and causing the slight miss i was getting every now and then. Probably not a common occurence but if you here a squirting sound from inside your tank you know where to start looking.
Hows your spring going Canuck, our Autumn is starting to cool down now, hope all is well with you and the family. I wonder what ever happened to Voo Doo, that was a cool bike he had.
Thanks for the heads up Ratsmow, will keep in mind if I ever get those symptoms. Spring is going alright, quite a bit of rain for the month of April but it's all good, it cleans up the streets and all. Should be taking her out next week!! Can't friggin wait... I wonder about Voodoo as well, he's the one that started out the Deuce picture thread, that purple Deuce was out of control!!
