I'm still looking for a cover for the passenger backrest mounting plate. I don't want to remove it as I occasionally have a passenger and the backrest also holds my luggage pack on when I'm going on trips. I'll take a look at it when I get my bar bones seat and see if there's some way to cover it. A fender bib would seem ideal, but I'm thinking the bolts stick too far up to actually cover it.

Maybe I could get a bib made with 4 holes in it and use black acorn nuts or something on the bolts to hide it.

I finally pulled the trigger on putting a true Heartland kit on my deuce and ordered the slotted struts and a new fender. It is in progress now and would appear it wasn't a moment too soon as when we pulled the rear fender it was obvious that the tire was hitting the ECM pan that the local shop's heartland "expert" built into the rear fender. Needless to say those guys won't be doing any work on my bike from now on. Managed to knock most of the work out with the help of a buddy, the only catch so far is relocating the ECM. Canuck's info was helpful, but somehow I forgot one important fact, and that is that mine is fuel injected and the ECM won't fit under the front of the seat. Does anyone have any pics of how and where they relocated their ECM on an EFI bike? I know in the manual it says to drop the fuse panel and set it on top, but I'm having a little difficulty getting it in there just right. Any help would be appreciated.

I'll take a picture of mine. Everything fit perfect

I finally got everything together. The end result is my new sig pic. I ended up switching to a Ballistic battery, which gave me a lot more room under the seat and in the battery box for the ECM and wiring. So I'd like to say it's finally finished, but we all know it's just a matter of time before I figure out something else to change.
