Nice Denm316. How long did it take you to clean your bike man?
That thing is spotless.

Takes a while to get it nice and clean. The Eagle One Never Dull is amazing.

These Dueces look great!!! It's nice to find a place where there's other people who saw the potential and share the passion.
I particually like the post of Deuce Dude's before and after pics. Amazing!
The cups are interesting. I'm also curious how much you dropped the forks?

ORIGINAL: deuce dude

no problem man....i wasn't sure you guys were interested in the cups. some people look down on them as the cheap way to rake...lol....I SAY YES!!! about time something was cheap and easy...this is the kit i used.....vulcan
i talked to the guy quite a bit before i did it and it was not to hard besides geting the old bearing races out(i used a dremel)....like i said before, its inexpensive(sounds better than cheap), reasonably easy(time consuming) and gives a 3 degree rake that is reversible if you want to later.....only fabrication was a fork stop i had welded in. i didn't know at the time i could get a fork stop from the same site....i like mine better though.....you will have to press out the old steering shaft, any shop with a hyd press can do it...nice weekend project ............

DD - please elaborate on the cups - you can PM me if you desire but I am sure we would all like the info

thats a nice ride you have there!!....welcome to hdforums. actually i didn't drop the forks, the lowering effect comes from the rake.....part of the reason i did it....

Special shout out to Pro1955 for a good run at bike of the month
for september. That's a hell of a ride you got there and this contest
is in no way indicative of it's beauty.

Deuce Dude is back in for bike of the month. And this time he's packing
the new tins. Let's all show our support and vote for him when the votes
begin. So far we have two Deuces for bike of the year. Let's make it
three.
