You know, I was gonna say I don't have that much more to do cause you guys are goin on about stuff, but then realized on Saturday I'm going to chat with Creative Cycles about a 95" kit?
One of the things I don't like is the height of the rear fender - how have others dropped it? I know some of you have done it. And when I swap tires, I'd still like to go with biggest I can - Metx 180 I hear without any mods? or a spacer? And of course, I'd like to drop the fender AND use the bigger tire...
did I mention I'm 235lb so I can't drop it TOO far...
I lowered the rear of mine almost 2" with progressive 413 shocks.
I just added an 18x 5.5 wheel with a 180 tire, so it looks a little lower because the tire is going up into the fender a little more.
The only thing that had to be done to mount this wheel is the rear brake caliper had to have 3/16" machined off the spacer area.
Instead of doing that, I found a rear caliper from a softail wide tire kit, it comes with the smaller spacer.
other than that, I used all of the stock spacers..
