hey all. had a half decent morning. nice temps and sunny. raining now. went for a small ride then came home and cleaned the bike up and got some nice pictures of it today and quick video. hope you all enjoy. i also removed all the pinstiping on the tank. i like it much better. i didnt like what the guy did when he did it on the tank so i removed it. i left the front fender and headlight pinstiped but they look good and i am happy with what was done on there.
nope its a wcc tombstone rear fender that i trimmed and drilled the holes for the sturts then put on. im happy with the way the rear end turned out.
on and the front pipe was loose. the rear exhaust mount that i had on it before pushed the pipes out away from the bike to far and every time i turned right the bike would hit the pipes and bend the lip of the one upward. so i took it off. i was in the process of making a new rear exhaust mount for the bike. when those photos were taking. those were taking before i road that day. right after that i hurried up and made a bracket.
This is driving me nuts.....Weather was supposed to be terrible here in Oklahoma, so I dropped my bike off at the shop before Christmas, for some winter work, and the past 3 days have been sunny and 60+. I'm ready to get her back and enjoy this weather, but knowing my luck, as soon as I get her, the weather will go back to being terrible......somedays I just can't win!
Yea, I know the pain. I've got mine torn down adding some **** & git to it and today it's to be 60+ too. But tomorrow it's back to reallity with the high about 45*. So beaureed, what u get'n done? Me, a 95" with SE 10.25 pistons, SE 211 cams, ported heads with larger intake valve, ported throttle body, and a pc3.
The question is more like "what aren't you getting done?" Last winter I tore it down, bored my stock jugs to 103", SE flat top pistons, SE255 cams, and PCIII....Made 84 hp, 104 tq. Not enough for me (never satisfied). So, I'm adding Baisley heads, roller rockers, Wood TW6G-7 cams, adj pushrods, and swapping exhaust to a Fat Cat.
