What did you have to do to convert to the Deuce rear wheel? How would you describe the clearances with the 160 mm rear tire? Which brand of tire is the 160 mm? Metzeler? Thanks.
Wasn't too difficult. Need a 2" spacer for the left side and had to do a small bit of machining on the caliper in order to center the wheel properly. Reverse the strut bolts and put acorn nuts on the outside of the fender. Clearance is tight but manageable, only have about 1/4" on each side. I'm using a Dunlop..
Aloha One and All, Heres a pic of mine, it's a 06 standard with V&H pipes (yes they are noisy), 1.5 in. drag bars with 10 in. rise. LePara seat, 2in. custom forward controls and lots of Bling. I have a stretched tank and fenders that I am painting. I have been riding since 64 and this is my first New bike, the rest were built by me. Ric
Aloha Vinny, It's a "King Cobra" I like it as it does not have the edge of the regular "Cobra". And if your not going far it's a great seat, for the passenger (if she's young, it's not made for an Older bottom) Basically a bar hopper seat or not for rides that exceed 250 miles. Not much to worry about here on the islands. Ric
