Great bike.
I had an 05. Rode it in two Hoka Heys and it had 112,000 mile on it when I sold it in 2013.
Only OEM issues it ever had other than the cam chain tensionor thing was a weeping shift shaft seal and the petcock.
I probably wouldn't have even found out about the petcock as I always turn my gas off whenever I stop, even it's just to take a leak. When I had it in the shop for the cam chain upgrade the tech left the petcock on and when I hit the starter to leave, it had a hydraulic lock.
Had a couple issues with **** that I modified but those had nothing to do with how the bike came out of the box.
