Looks very good! I agree that the skull series stuff (which I have on my Glide, BTW) does not really fit the nostalgic look you have going.

Trauma,

Looks great! Love the tasteful mods that you continue to do...

Any plans for a bar swap? Just curious if you have anything in mind.

Has anyone used the FLSTS rigid mount king-size windshield on a Springer Classic? I just traded my beloved '97 Heritage Springer on an '07 Classic (same colors as TraumaKing's) and it looks like it may work.

Sorry to hear that you parted w/ that sweet '97.

I hope they treated you alright.

I would love to find one that clean, for the right price.

SKT,

Yeah, they did right by me (and the '97). Rocky Mount H-D, Rocky Mount NC. I figured it was time, plus I was hankering for the 96"/counterbalanced/6-speedversion. Question: what did you use to lower yours?

I used the Arlen Ness kit for the rear.

Have it "slammed" almost as far as it can go, and have not "bottomed" out yet...even w/ two-up riding.

Of course, as w/ any lowering kit, the ride is not quit as comfortable as stock form-still not bad though.

Before lowering it, I was dragging only the floorboards, the way it sits now, I mostly drag the fish tails.

It is full adjustable w/ a few turns of the wrench.

Have not lowered the front (yet).

SKT,

I didn't lower the '97 at all, because the fringed bags and no passenger seat (most of the time) created the illusion that it was lowered. I'm thinking about adding bags to the '07 eventually, but for now I'm going for the Progressive 422s for improved ride and to lower it about1.5 inches.

I did add Krome Werks FLSTS bars (had to have my old riding position) and a black engine guard for now.
