Glad you guy's like it. The clutch set up and tank shifter is Labriola machine. I think it is about 450 for everything. I work at a dealer, so I got it for less. It is high quality stuff, not like V Chin items. It comes about an inch away from the tank. Instead of using their mounting system for he shifter, I removed the horn and used a button head screw to attach it to the motor mount/horn bracket. You just remove the rubber isolator, using 2 nuts to back it out of the mount. It even has a zerk fitting to grease the shifter. I appreciate quality workmanship, so even at retail, I think it is worth it.

It shifts very smooth, easily finding neutral. I had to play around with the clutch adjustment at the rod, to make the clutch release evenly and smooth. I have the adjustment now where I rarely stall it. It takes some getting used to, especially since I also ride a Road King with a hand clutch set up.

I do get some weird looks from people riding next to me in cars. I average 20k a year on my bikes and generally ride to work every day, so I do not think this set up would be ideal for an inexperienced rider, or someone who rarely rides. I do not consider it dangerous at all, the hardest part is feathering the clutch on a steep incline

Thanks Moon. I like yours, I think I will have to powder coat my head lamp, leaving the trim ring chrome.

I got the clutch adjusted just the way I like it now, so it is pretty smooth. The weird thing is, I have better clutch control on down shifting than I did with hand controls. I still think about what I am doing when starting off from a stop, I have a bit over 100 miles on it, so It still is not 2nd nature to me. Unless I am caught by surprise, I generally am good at keeping my speed and rpm appropriate for the twisties. I was caught a couple of times, where I had to downshift during a turn, but it went smooth like butter. The shift is smooth, when downshifting, I pull the lever towards me, up shift is forward.. I like the look, but it is more of a blast to ride than I thought it would be. I am now thinking of adding a post mount saddle like those pictured above, from Crusty Chrome.

LMAO, They are glad I am gone. Too many non working people who hate this Country, even though they leech off of programs. Maybe another hurricane will hit and there will be a new Fat Boy build using FEMA funds, maybe even a pictorial essay?

Anyone seen a detachable fairing that would fit an FLSTSC? It sounds silly I know, but I think it'd be a nice alternative to a windshield for long trips (or cold weather riding season) and it doesn't look to bad IMO....
