QUOTE "Despite your good intentions of staying stock (I remember that too..) I bet you'll begin to lose your grip on the wallet before long. It's like a disease."
I remember thinking like that right after I got mine in 07, now look at it. Before and after
You guys are right, it is a disease, but I have others.
Tony-your bike looks awesome but I like the mini apes & sissy bar look. I really like the way your air cleaner goes with the blacked-out engine. I think that would look good on my stock engine too.
The air cleaner cover was easy to make took a couple of hours to cut and grind but not hard. Bought the older football cover off of ebay and ordered the trim ring from the stealer. I just ordered the timing cover to match the air cleaner trim ring, it should complete the package. As for the motor it looks the same as the day I bought it. If your not handy with power tools let me know and I could probably make you one. PM me if interested
Just added the V&H Big Radius and Ness Big Sucker to go along with all the other "trinkets". Got some 501's, chrome controls, ISO grips, chrome switch housings, braided cables, solo seat, lowering kit, etc, planned for this winter.....Bike rides very nice, and no issues at all w/ 1,200 miles and ticking!
Finally! Finally! As promised when I bought my bike, no changes for a year Well it's all over now. just put on the Rinehart Cross Backs and the PC-V and I couldn't be happier!! Also put on the Mustang Solo. Just need to lower it now and I should be done for a little while
