I checked it last night and responded. Unless you sent me another one.
I found the original box that it came in, so hopefully the shipping cost won't be too bad, because it won't be in an oversized box. I just need to pick up some bubble wrap. Then it'll be good to go.
If you send me another email, send me a PM or let me know in here. I'm a little slow (as you've noticed) at checking my emails. If I know you've sent me something, I'll check and respond right away. I just can't check them at the office, though, so I'd have to look in the evening.
Live2ride > Hey man im looking into getting a new sissybar for my bike, hopefully a much taller one. I was wondering if the twisted sissybar you got is any taller then the stock one, and how much taller? Thanks bro.

The twisted sissy bar is taller than the stock one. Without actually measuring it, I would guess it's probably 3"-4" taller. I haven't seen how it looks with the stock seat, so I can't really compare them that well. I only have pictures with the new sissy bar and the retro seat, and the stock sissy bar with the stock seat. If you go to the Harley website and look at the Customizer they have, you can get a better idea. There are definitely some much taller sissy bars out there, but no one makes anything for the Softail Custom unless you plan on changing out your seat or have a sissy bar custom made. I was originally looking for a much taller sissy bar also, but I'm happy with the height of this one. I also gotta say it looks taller if you don't have a fender rack.
her are some mods i do over the winter. First: i want the original look, so, i make just little "refinements":
little turnsignals, little mirrors (made by myself from cheap mirrors and arms from my ex-nighttrain), little horn (i dont love the original cow-bell look), shortened handlebar-levers, elektric-cables in the (original)handlebar, blacked out the exhaust and modified the heatshields, polished the discbrakes...also have NessBigSucker and PC...some lowering rear and front (with progresiv-suspension-springs in front: now the front realy works) the exhaust is from my (ex)nighttrain`01, so there are noO2-Sensors and plugs, just clean but still original looking:-)
