Jackson MS routes

Any Jackson MS locals in here? I'll meeting up with a friend in Jackson in early May and will have one full Saturday to ride. Any suggested routes/rides?

Hi RomeoTango: A great ride from Jackson is to go to Lorman, MS to the Lorman Country Store for lunch. It's about an hour and a half ride down there. But Old Port Gibson Road is a great road for your scooter. If youre starting in Jackson, go down to Raymond, MS (actually just past it) via Hwy 18 and turn right onto Port Gibson Street. You'll go just a quarter mile or so and turn left onto Old Port Gibson Road. Take this road all the way to Highway 61 just north of Port Gibson. Once at Hwy 61, turn left and head south to Lorman. The Lorman Country Store is an old wood-sided building straight out of the 1800's. The fried chicken is awesome. Lunch is pricey though-about $20. But its worth it and its a great ride.
