Figured I would go ahead and start a new thread for plans this weekend. Afterall, Saturday is only a few days away. Anyone have a route in mind? I might or might not be able to join. We're gonna try and get my wife's Sportster on the Dyno this week and they're gonna need the bike for 3 days they said. Mine is due for the 5,000 mile service and I'd like to get it Dyno'd as well. So if her's goes in, I'll probably put mine in too. Anyway, just in case the bikes aren't gonna be down, what are the plans for this weekend? (Besides staying dry!)

I am going to need the 1000 mile service done on my bike soon. I am not opposed to trying it myself. Does not seem that it would be that hard. any of the local guys want to make a day of changing oil and fluids and maybe a beer let me know. I have a big enough garage for many bikes, but i will need to purchase a lift soon.

Those services aren't difficult at all. I am afraid of taking it to H-Dog unless absolutely necessary. My experience is they are not the best mechanics (save for 2 maybe) and they tend to nick the paint.
