It was great meeting everyone!! We had a great ride up through Brevard and over to Highlands. Stopped there to eat, and as usual (for us atleast), a torrential downpour. Thank God we all brought our raingear this time!! It was a wet and miserable ride back to SC, but we all made it back safe.
I am exhausted. Ridin' in the rain just drains me. I don't think I'll be able to ride next weekend. I'm gonna try and stay off my bike until I get my front tire replaced. Head shake is never a good thing and I felt it starting up about 4 times out there. I'm not gonna press my luck. I'm gonna see if I can get my bike in for the 5,000 mile service and have the tire changed then. I'd like to getit on the dyno while it's there too. If I'm able to do all that, I'll keep my fingers crossed I don't run into the same problems as Dynamite. It was good meetin' everyone today. One of these days we'll able to do a ride and stay dry!
Hey Live2, glad to meet you Blade and your group, is everyone home? We got wet on 276 just as we got to the Parkway. We cut our trip a little short and dropped down the muntain on 215, then 178 thru Rosman and home.
Live2Ride, Mopar, Blade and everyone else that I forgot your name, it was great meeting you and had a good time riding. Yea....we got wet too. ****** was leading and came to an intersection and to the right was sunshine and to the left was dark and rainy, ****** turned left and we were soaked within 5 miles.

I need a weekend off anyway. After 2 straight trips in the rain, and the Freedom Ride, my body is a little tired. Maybeafter you get your bike back,we can make a big Saturday tripALL THE WAYto downtown Greenville and get some lunch again!!

Hi guys, looks like y'all had a great time *wet*. Sorry I couldn't make it, but I did get a lot done around here today and Mrs. Simcom is happy. Gonna work on the rest tomorrow and get it buttoned up. I hope most of you get a chance to rest up and bikes dyno'd and the like and can go next weekend. Weekend after is out, I'm gonna be outta town. This coming week the jr simcoms will be at church camp, if anyone wants to go downtown or bike nite at hooters let me know. Glad E1 made it home safe.
