Default Dropped my road couch yesterday!!

Yesterday I met up with some friends I met in HDFORUMS to ride up to the BRP for a Sunday ride. Being the rain magnet I am the sky opened up and we got wet. We cut the ride short as there was no relief in sight for the liquid sunshine. I made it all the way home with out any problems. I parked my bike on the concrete to opened the garage door, pulled one of the cars out and got back on the bike to turn it around to put in the garage. That was my mistake. I circled the yard to get a go at the garage and the front wheel hit some mud as I was turning and the front wheel just slid out from under me. Was only going 2 mph and the bike was on the ground before I knew what happened. I got the bike picked back up and in the garage. Luckily there was no damage except where my new frog toggs burned to the exhaust. I washed off the mud and checked the bike over and after first inspection the only thing that was hurt was my pride. I have been riding many years but this is the first time on a bike this size. I have only had the bike for about 4 weeks and am still learning it. I did learn a valuable lesson. Keep this bike off of less than solid ground. I posted this in the Tourning section, but I thought I would copy it here too so that all of my buds can laugh at me.

I'm sure you can take your bike to a custom bike shop in the area and have them make you some training wheels. Or have you thought of maybe turning it into a trike? That would eliminate your problems! Just messin' with ya. I'm glad you didn't get hurt and the bike faired out well also. We all make stupid little mistakes at some point. Just not that stupid!!!!! J/K (to an extent.....)

You just gave me an idea...

We've seen some funny stuff on Harley's lately, Whips, Antlers, Cowbells, etc.

A set of chrome training wheels would be the kicker. [sm=yeahsmile.gif]

Stop up at Big O' Dodge and trade in your couch for this. I think you will find that the weight and size are more to your liking.
