Warning........Warning........Warning!!!!!!!!!!!!! Possible Hacker at the Sea Mist. I just made the reservations last night online. My card was supposedly charged $65.49 for the deposit on the room. Now my checking account shows $1000.00 withdrawn today for the Sea Mist. Doesn't even show anywhereonline for the $65.49 on the deposit. Just the even $1,000. Sure hope I get this **** straight in the morning.
My guess is that they just authorized your card. That is probably a set amount that they authorize any credit card for. Just keep an eye on it, and I'm sure you'll see it show back up, and then you'll see the deposit amount.
Oh man ...I better get Mark to check ours out. I gave mine to somebody named Wanda over the phone. Not a hacker but they still have the info eitherway. There may be an a$$ whopping goingif so.
Call Sea Mist ask them why they charged your card $1000 bucks. If they say they didnt ask them how muchwas charged to your card. If they say nothing call your bank and have them recover the money. If they did charge your card and say only the 65.49 tell them your bank says $1000 was charged and you want an immediate refund of whats owed to you, if they dont help you ,then call your banktell themwhat happened and have them recover ALL of your money. Then get another room.Compass Cove had rooms for $52.70 a night, its on 23rd st.just down from the sea mist.Let us know who took your money....
I was just directed to this thread from the softail boards
Anyway ...
I'll be heading on dow to Myrtle as well. I'm actually leaving Philly this Saturday and I'll be riding down with about 10 others. Sounds like a real plan needs to be set up if you really wanna do a meet and great. Someone who's familiar with the area would probably be best at setting it up huh?
