Howdy. Can anyone tell me if there is a combination Harley-Davidson/Honda dealer located anywhere in the Southeast? Thank you in advance for your help!
To my knowledge such a place doesn't exist anywhere. I could be wrong, though. Isn't it against the law or something? And may I ask why you're looking for a Harley-Davidson/Honda dealer?
I also ask why but only one I know of is in cheyenne wyoming, stopped by on the way to sturgis wanted a Tee shirt but they werent open early enough. Tom.
Knoxville Harley and Knoxville Honda are owned by the same people ,they arent in the same building but are right next door to each other on Clinton HWY.
Thanks fellas for answering my question, I appreciate it! The reason I ask is I have an '06 Honda Gold Wing for sale. If it doesn't sell it the next two weeks or so I may consider trading it on a new Ultra. Generally speaking a Honda dealer will pay more for a Honda than another brand because it's somewhat easier for him to sell it. The same is true for most all vehicles including Harley-Davidson. Most folks looking to buy used iron will, at first, shop their local brand X dealer seeking the make/model they want. If the model the buyer is looking for doesn't exist at brand X dealer then the buyer will go elsewhere. Anyhoo, I'm glad to know that I'm not too far from two Harley-Davidson/Honda dealers. And no, its not 'illegal' for two or more franchisee's to be under one roof. BTW; if you care to take a look you can see my Wing at:www.RidersRally.com once you arrive there go to the classified forum and look for a post called "She's Available".
Thanks for the bandwidth and I hope to be motorin' with some of you folks in the near term!
Harley-Davidson of Greenville in South Carolina accepts anything for trade in. Doesn't matter if it's a different brand of bike, car, dirtbike, etc. I saw where one guy traded a Corvette for a bike. The dealer just put the car up on Ebay. Might could find out what they'd give you for it. Their website is www.h-dog.com
