Default Need Help-Problem w/ Shifter

I have a 2007 FLHTC. When I down shift to first, the shifter, at times, stays down - sorta like getting stuck in this position. Most of the time it seems really spongy going into first, on occasion it will stick. When this happens, I have to take my toe and manually push the shifter back into position or even have to use the heel shifter to pop it back into position. This sticking seems to happen after the bike has been running for awhile.

Check your oil levels in the primary and the tranny first. let us know if they are ok.

Seen this before, but I would start with the simple stuff.

All levels good. (I also did the 10,000 mile maintenence and had used all synthetic.)

If they just did the service, honestly I would take it back to them and have them look it over.
