Tired of the snow and short riding season here in NH. Company has an opening in the Ashland Kentucky area. They are paying relocation fees also so it is looking attractive. I've been to WV a few times and liked it but nothing open there right now. Curious as how the Ashland area is as far as friendly folks, riding in the area how kids and wife may adapt etc..

 

Culture shock...spent 3 1/2 years there and in and out for 20 more. It is however a beautiful area and bikers have lots of choices.

 

Ridefaster I hear banjo music! Just kidding, I'm a Kentucky boy and there is some great riding in that area. Culture shock, a little. But if you like a slower paced lifestyle you might actually enjoy the friendly people and beautiful countryside. Give it a try and keep an open mind. You could do a lot worse. COst of living should be a little better than where you are now.

 

[>:]I live in the ashland area, as far as a riding season I am still waiting to get the bike out! we have had maybe two or three days of riding weather.As far as WV, ashland is only 10 miles from Huntington WV.The cost of living is probably the cheapest in the country.
