Day 2 - Meet acouple inMiami mid-day and head to Key Largo or Islamarada and overnight
Day 3/4 - KeyWest
Day 5 - Head to Naples arriving mid afternoon in time for the party on the beach
Day 6/7 - Work. arrgg
Day 7 - Head back toSC. Take two days if my wife isn't up to the long haul.
Questions. Any recommendation on lodging in Key largo, Islamarada or Key West?
You may want to stay in Florida City. It is just before you enter the Keys and much more reasonalble Most of the major brand hotels there and lots of restuarants. Much more reasonable than the Upper Keys. I like to stay at the Hibiscus Inn in Key West. It's an old Best Wesern that has been updated. The staff is nice and the rooms are clean. You are only a block away from Duvall Street, which means you can park the bike and walk to all of the action. There is another motel across the street that we looked at as well. I can't remember the name right now. I have friends that have had good luck with various Bed & Breakfast Inns, but I haven't stayed in one down there.
