So what are the dates of this HOG Rally, and where exactly is it gonna be?
I'm in the west end of Richmond, and am looking forward to some runs this season!
Being new to the area (fromS.A.Texas), and a new HD owner, I'm looking forward to meeting good folks, and fun times!
I'll be taking in the VA Rally myself this year as part of a week long ride to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Just opening day though as it will be my first rally. I'm sure I'll like it and probably will wish I'd stayed longer. Where are you at in Western Maryland? I'm over at the other end of the state in Cecil County. BTW, the Maryland/Delaware State Rally will be held at Deep Creek Lake this year, July 20 -22nd.
I'm am just west of Frederick. All of the rallies seem to fall on weekends that I either work or am committed elsewhere. I was hoping to make it for one of the days in VA, MD is out.
The OL and I joined the our local HOG chapter for the trip last year...the rally was more boring pro MoCo crap and a few games...but the mountains are as good as the riding gets anywhere, simply outstanding!!!
I live here in lynchburg. Its nice to have so many people to ride with but the local activeties kidda stink. They have planned several nice rides to the mountians and the d-day memorial etc..
MoCo doesnt allow non HD vendors with in 10 miles. So there was some jewlery, air brushing and like five area HD shops selling clothes. Oh and the moble dyno was there to get your big dog patch and some tuning if you like. They have some games in the cattle annies parking lot and all the beer you can pay for as long as you pay your entry fees.
There are supposed to be more non-MOCO vendors in the parking lot at the bar next door to Cattle Annie's this year. I can't think of the name of it. It's down over the hill behind the Ramada Inn.
