Take a ride up to Rocky Mount HD. They generally offer some pretty good deals.

F all of them ,but if you got to have a new bike treat them just like you might if buy'n a car shop them all that you would drive to and buy from who gives you the best deal and go home. Do your warranty work at your dealer of choice ,they don't care. I have made most of my dealer over the phone, test ride and buy and tow home to break in the bike.Don't buy accesories at the dealer if finaceing ,you can buy on line as cheap .
looking to finance this once again

Kinda depends on YOU, and which salesman you get. I've been to Sheltons in Durham, and Smithfield (bought from Smithfield), Ray's, ***'s in Asheboro, Rocky Mount HD. Rocky Mount has always given off the better vibe (to ME). Each time I've been there a salesman has talked bikes, and offered friendly, and correct information about which ever bike we chatted about. Although I let it be known I wasn't shopping, they were still friendly and willing to talk.
Wish that was so elsewhere.
Check out the goodies on the wall while you're shopping, at least ONE of the dealers I mentioned has MSRP+++ on the Genuine Motor Accesories. I won't say which one, but when I mentioned the raised prices, I was told that was the list price (and me standing there with a printout from the MOCO's web site)
Are you going to have the work done at the shop? or do it your self? Again, look at the posted service prices.
Even such things as a service contract, you might want to ask all these question, and take notes.

I've been quite happy with the Mall store, and Shelton's in Durham has the best/largest discount section for old motor clother (old styles NOT used)

But... if I ever buy a new bike? I'm leaning towards Rocky Mount

As always: "your miles may vary"

Carolina HD in Gastonia is terrible. Cannot keep salespeople there. Every time you go in there is someone new there and if you deal with someone chances are they are gone the next time you visit. The General Manager is an absolute *****! Will drive 100 miles out of the way to deal with another dealership. It is sad, but true.

I like Blue Ridge best and Tilley's in Statesville comes in second.

Got to make sure you're comparing apples to apples
Smithfield WITHOUT the accesories and first service comes to 14539, which is 340 less than RM.

Make sure you're getting this stuff in WRITING.
Frankly I've dealt with both Terrance, and Harlan, and think both will shoot straight, but then again, they are both SALESMEN...

Definitely can't recommend Greensboro or Curleys - any service that my HD Auth Indy can't do I get done at Davis - they have been AWESOME. Everyone I know who's bought from Davis goes back again.....they have great service.
