Just an observation, from 15 years ago....
As I purchased my '05 FLTRi, I checked out the local , to Raleigh dealerships and indys
10k service
Ray Price $550
Shelton's $275
Rocky Mount $280
Twin Specialties $250
Biker's Blvd $ 350
Now these prices were inclusive, and out the door prices.
When I asked WHY the difference, I was told they can charge "BOOK" rates, or actual time..
Not sure of your location but just learned of another eastern NC shop in Garner Im gonna ride by to check out today. https://www.twinperftuners.com
Just FYI, my friends and I use Twin Performance Tuners for all our services. They do a great job and are very reasonable, Hr rate is $95 and they only charge for Hrs actually worked. They are very good at what they do, so they can get very busy, especially this time of year.
Busted Knuckle in Walnut Cove is VERY good! Jesse is an awesome tuner and owner. I know thats a bit of a drive from the Raleigh area, but might be worth checking them out. Rates are better there as well. I think he's 65hr. He does all my work and service maintenance.
I am in Clayton NC right on the Wake / Johnston county line.
Twin Performance Tuners in Garner NC is very good. Brett the owner will answer any questions you have. Then set you up with what you want!
I was over there a couple weeks ago and strapped mine to the dyno.
They also host an occasional Thursday night Bike Night and setup a huge projector / sound system / free pizza to watch the Bagger road course racing. It is a BYOB (beverage event). Last one I went to there were about 40 people there.
Anybody have any experience with D&Q Motorsports south of Angier? I was in for an inspection today and its REAL convenient to me. I have been wondering who I can fall back on as a wrench if I stumble into a shovel I might have to have.
The proprietor alledgedly owns twenty eight shovels. Im not a'feared to bust some knuckles but its nice to know there's someone close by if I happen to hang myself out to dry.

I know several people who regularly use D&Q and are very happy with them, their service, and prices....
NOW, having said that, there will be be at least 10 people who will say they suck... because, that's what the internet does.
I did check them out a few years ago, on a project, but opted for the nearer, indy, who I use often
Motorcycle Innovations, in Wake Forest,

My experience was good thus far, but very limited. The guy working the front was on the phone telling someone he had 150 bikes in the shop and was 3 weeks out on service work. Sounds like SOMEBODY likes them.

My indy will get you in, for an inspection, oil change tire etc.... but he also has a waiting list...the best ones do... which will always **** of the clown who shows up on a Thursday, wanting their engine rebuilt, so they can make it to the mountains on Friday
