I have read all 45 pages, looks like I have a lot of neighbors. I live right on 86N, in NC but just a stones throw on the South side of Danville, 15 miles North of Yanceyville. Little town called Providence. Some of you have probably stopped in at Clucks bar, now Still Cluckin since Cluck retired and his son took it over. I live right behind it, have about 40 acres here. If anyone heads this way, give me a call, numbers in the book, I'll buy the first round of beer. Plan on painting my tins in the AM, rain today messed things up quite a bit. I was down in Raleigh last month on my Sporty, nice round trip of 150 miles or so.
We have a bike night at the bar, but it is still small but growing. Several places in Danville have Bike nights, one about 5 miles from me has a good Wednesday night. I am up for a good ride anytime. Should be back on the bike next week.
5:55 in the AYHEM...bags are packed.... meeting friends at 10.... heading north to the Shenandoah Valley.... spending tonight and tomorrow up there, the easing south along the BRP, before setting up camp in Bryson City NC for a couple of days....doing the whole Parkway this time.... or at least all that is open. There's a part closed, but have a great detour, theough the Pisgah National Forest.
Probably hit the Dragon, while I'm back in Bryson City...
