I visited Cycle Gear on St. Andrews road and wanted to give them a nice shout out. After my wife finished purchasing her helmet and jacket, I walked out of there leaving my wallet on the counter. I had some cash, my check, and my wifes paycheck... plus all my identification docs... etc.
After riding home for an hour and a half, I realized I didn't have the wallet. Called them up and they said they had found it, placed it in the back for me. I went back, another hour and a half lol, and everything that was there before, was still there. They saved me a LOT of money, and a lot of hassle with the ID stuff.
Update on an eariler post about a friend who lost his baby. Its looking like they are gonna plan a poker run around the first weekend in May. From what im told, they are still looking for a place to have it. This is all I have right now. More as I get it. I have offered to help if they need me.

Me and the better half would love to help out the cause but the only days I have off are Thursday's and Sunday's. Keep us posted on the dates please. Thanks
John
Anybody up to anything? Does anyone know if there are any bikenites during the summer anywhere?
thanks
John
I can't say it's an official bike nite but I remember Venture's bar & grill down hwy 302 in Gaston has a heck a deal on all you can eat shrimp on wed nights and that tends to bring in some bikes.
I also remember Hooter's on two notch has a bike night. Not sure which night it is. I want to say Thursdays. They alternate with the hooters in Harbison. So 2x a month it's on two notch, 2x a month it's in Harbison. The several occasions I went to two notch was hit/miss. Some nights you had a great crowd. other times, it was jam packed with sportbikes and I found the vibe teetering on 'lame'.

No problem. If you don't mind the 90min ride, Quaker Steak & Lube next to Greenville HD has one heck a bike night. I had the pleasure of going once and I would say there was plenty of ways I could have gotten myself into trouble. if I lived closer I'd go without thinking twice.
Also, spending a few moments on google I found there seems to be some bike nights in Rock Hill, which is 75-90min up I-77.
There is the Kickstand in Lancaster / Liberty that may or may not have an actual bike night. It's definitely a biker-themed establishment. I'd suggest the Lancaster location.
Also, check out the free mag "Carolina Chrome". Plenty of bike night info in there. You can usually find it at biker friendly establishments. http://www.carolinachromemagazine.com/index.php
The kickstand in lancaster on hwy 200 is now The Spoke, under new management and owner, but the only thing that changed is the name and a few bartenders.
You still have the kickstand on hwy 97 toward lake wateree, members only, just ask for a membership at the door. The bartender will usually be the sponsor for you. They sell beer on sunday because of the members only/private club deal.
