Oh yeah, I agree. That definitely did her in. I've tried to make my bike into a comfy place for her. That's really the only reason I bought a tourpak. When she's happy, I'm happy. I also have a sundowner seat and one of those gel pad things to go on top in case she ever needs it (never has). She can only handle the stock seat around town. If we ride for a day or for a long trip, she won't do the stocker like I will. Causes me to have to change seats a lot, but it's the least I can do to keep her happy.
Greetings from Yankeeland fella's! Hows it going down there? Doing well here in Ohio. New job keeping me busy and getting plenty saddle time with old friends and family members. Almost seems like I never left in the first place. Kinda missin the south tho... Take care y'all!
I know what ya mean SC. When I went there I said I would never go back north. Well......Long story short....Its all about bein able to survive. Cash flo and jobs just werent cuttin it there any more. Ask me again this winter comming!
How is the riding down there in the Columbia or Simpsonville areas? I may be getting relocated down there in the next couple months.
The upstate has more technical roads. The Midlands and Low Country are scenic but the roads are more straight with gentle sweepers. Here in the Columbia area there is a poker run almost every weekend but they seem to have the same destinations. All the stops are at the same bars?
Get a good map like a DeLorme street atlas that shows all the back roads and you will find some good riding with very little traffic and plenty of scenic and historic destinations.
^^^ agree with gus........I made it rideing all year last year which I am very proud of lol.......big change in weather here in Columbia from Durham NC......where I moved from....
I was gonna post yesterday but forgot. Anyone get to hit the Lexington County Sheriff's Dept. Honor Flight poker run? I won worst hand Got a $50 certificate to Brass Anchor Tattoo studio. What to get, what to get.. hmm..
