The husband broke down and got a new Sporty last month (YAY!!) after a year of torture with the old one. We missed the Spring Rally; there was much cursing in the garage that week... Given this, we're not missing Fall MBBW for anything!
Anyone know of any decent hotels to stay at? Any clean, decent biker friendly places you've had a good experience at? The last couple of places we stayed were scary so I'm looking for some info from fellow rally attendees!
FG, the Country Inn & Suites on 501 about a mile from 17 bypass was very nice place to stay, very clean rooms, security over the parking lot, Contential breakfast, affordable rates, No cops around there like on Ocean blvd or 17 Bus. to watch out for. It was very quiet unless you sleep better to the sound of THUNDER pipes on Ocean blvd lol. It`s very easy access to all you favorite places, halfway between SBB - HBspokes, get on hwy 17 bypass or 31 & travel where you want without alot of traffic, (lot of traffic = cars 2 feet from your bumper) Ocean blvd. watch the cagers & drive defensively.. Me & the wife will be there again.
Sea Mist is great. Real good prices, real good security for your bike, bike wash set up to keep your bike clean, two restaurants on site, if you trailor, they have a seperate secure area for it to be left. We really like it. Also it right on the main drag in MB.
I've stayed at the SEA MIST also and it's nice. We're staying at the Driftwood this time across from the Breakers[8D]. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay Cabana Shores is right off the ocean and is reasonable.
