Madison, Ridgeland, Jackson, Ms area?

Madison, Ridgeland, Jackson, Ms area?
Straight to the point, have a prospective job in Madison, Ms. Ive looked at pretty much all I can online about the area. Madison and Ridgeland look ok, but Jackson doesnt look to inviting. I figured on here someone might be able to give me a better perspective of that area. Any from around there? Yays or Nays? Good and Bads? Go or stay? Rider friendly? Things to watch for? etc.....appreciate any help..

Madison is more upscale and expensive area than Ridgeland, but parts of Ridgeland are getting as bad as Jackson. Madison area is growing fast and getting crowded. Most of the area's out side of Jackson are ok.

Well im a country boy from Kentucky that migrated to Texas after the Army. So city living is not my type of thing. Good riding around there? any good country side to live in outside of Madison for an easy commute?
