There were some organized rides. The original SBB had a poker run with over 450 bikes. Went Georgetown, Conway, N. Myrtle, Myrtle, and back to 4 corners SBB.
Beer was about 2-3 bucks depending on where you went. The orignial SBB was selling them for 3 and the Beaver bar was 2 so you were an idiot if you didn't just walk 10 feet further to save a buck.
I also didn't realize the bands had to stop at 11. I was wondering why on a Friday night at Spokes N Bones the music stopped and everyone cleared out.
As far as the HA beatdown...I hadn't heard anything about a shooting but I heard 2 versions...1 was the guy was stabbed and 1 was the guy was beaten up pretty bad. Neither version said anything about him dying.
