Default Need help in Franklin KY area

Where my wife works they are closing down the plant and she may have a chance to relocate to the Franklin KY area mid to late summer so we are looking for a house in that area by internet.

I have called two real estate agents and contacted three by email trying to get additional information on house's / area, We were told they only have the information that is listed on the website. It seems to me that is additional work and since we are looking for a house at or under 80,000 the commision will be small so why spend more time then needed. This is what I am thinking at least.

We are like every body out there living from week to week and trying to fix up our house here to sell so money is tight. I can offer gas money and buy your lunch at this time but if we do move I can offer mechanical help (8 years as a HD mechanic in the 80's), carpenter skills (not the best but I can/could drive in a nail, weekend riding buddy.

If you can help out contact me at
email

Thank you
Bruce

Did you ask about making an appointment to look at places there? That shows you're serious about being a potential buyer and not just an internet tire-kicker.

You might also get more traction with them if you tell them your wife is one of several people being relocated. That will get their attention.

That's nice country down there, especially if you like being outside.

I talked to them about the company she works for and she was the first to sign up for transfering. We also discussed that we were in the process of getting pre-approved for a VA loan and may have a buyer for our home already.
We explained that the last three times we tried to come down to Franklin the weather sucked, ice/snow.

I don't know what company your wife is relocating for but you may also wish to consider Bowling Green. It is about 20 minutes from Franklin via I-65 and is a much larger housing market. Franklin is a nice, smaller town. Bowling Green is bigger and the hub of south-central Kentucky. This is also where you will find the local stealer, if you are interested. Good luck!

Well it looks like we are selling just about everything we have for the move in March. Leaving to KY on tour bus for three days on Monday 30th Jan, Company sending the people that are transferring down to meet with area professionals and to view the factory with pay! Waiting on itinerary.

Wouldn't you know it, with all the packing selling looking for a job and other bs a kid backed up at the pumps and knocked my bike over. Now I'm dealing with the insurance, dealers and painters. Insurance paid but not all, parts on order, some came in but waiting on front wheel, striped down and going to painter next week with promised I will get back by mid February.
Liquid Illusions THIS GUY KICKS ***!!!
The part I hate is going for tool and find out I sold it!!

Oh yeah did I say factory Harley trained technician from the 90's... 8 years at HD dealer.
Bourbeuse Valley Harley
Would like to stay in the office as service writer/manager or property management in the maintenance / office area. Even something like Home Depot or Lowes, they NEED someone with knowledge.
I'm old school, get it done, do it right, say thank you, please the customers and always open the doors for the ladies.
