Ride 12/16 NC/SC
Anyone in the Carolinas got any plans for riding this Sat? Temps near 70...... Man this is why we live in the Carolinas... great places to ride and the weather can be great too. I'm up for a ride...anyone else?

Silly question" I ride every weekend in the NC.GA.SC.TN.VA. mountains
all year round.
I'm at 70,000 miles in 2006 already, I ride in all weather every day.
Like I tell everyone who rides: if you want to ride I ride all the time
so you all are welcome to tag along anytime if you don't mind my

BTW: Last weekend up top it was between 0 and 15 degrees where
I was riding, so keep in mind it maybe nice down here, but sometimes
up there you need to have warm riding gear with you or electrics!

Chuck, got a message from ya. Plans as of today are to ride to Marion, pick up Hwy 80 to the BRP oooooorrrrrrrrrrrrr Ride southwest to Northern Ga. Several are SAYING they want to ride. We'll see!

This is what I'm lookin at for Saturday
Meet at Hwy 11 and 14 9am or so
head west on 11 to Hwy 8
8 to Pickens and Hwy 183
183 to Walhalla and Hwy 28
28 to Warwoman Rd
Warwoman Rd into Clayton, Ga
Take 23N from Clayton, to 246/106 to Highlands, NC
At Highlands take 28 South to Walhalla.
In Walhalla we can return on Hwy 11, or take 183 back thru the Country Home or where ever
This is about 210 miles from Hwy 11 & 14 and back.
Meet at Hwy 11 and 14 9am or so
head west on 11 to Hwy 8
8 to Pickens and Hwy 183
183 to Walhalla and Hwy 28
28 to Warwoman Rd

Greg, Lori and I are going to be riding both days but she won't be ready to ride till lunch time anyways and i'll be doing seats in the morning Saturday or washing bikes and getting them ready to ride but we will be riding. PM me with your plans and maybe we can hook up....Allen

I will be riding to Charleston Saturday morning with a couple co-workers. This weekend would be nice for mountain riding though.
