Can anyone tell me how far apart the cones are on the Va driving test?. I want to take the college drivig school class but its about 6 weeks before I can get in one. Ive rode bikes years ago and can ride. Not that Im an expert or couldnt learn something.........but I just want to be able to get out and ride some.........and take the weekend class when its available.
I didnt want to go to the DMV and look like a big dummy, plus I was used to 250cc bikes that handled all together different from my sporty
If you can handle the sporty pretty well you won't have a problem passing the test, I took it on my Softail Standard and passed it but the small weave on the last cone cost me a few points. Here is the link to the test but no mention of the cone spacing and the weave skill which look to be by my eyes about 6-8 feet apart. Good luck
Most all of the DMV locations already have the course painted in the parking lot, you may want to ride by one and check them out. When I took mine I went up after business hours to practice.
Take the MSF course and you don't have to take the riding test at DMV. It is easier to pass and the things you learn will make you a much better and safer rider
