Riding 3/25
211chuck,
The problem is I don't ride just to clock miles, I like to ride and stop to goof around a bit and then continue on. When I think I'm up for riding 1300 miles in a weekend ill give you a ring
.
Thats cool my friend"
I don't ride to just clock miles either, I stop and goof off
as much as the next guy,"probably more"!
The thing is most 21st century riders wake up at 9 or
10AM and maybe get moving by 11AM or noon. At that
point the best part of the riding day is over. I get up at
around 5AM and start just as the sun is starting to come
up so I've already gone 2 or 300 miles before most guys
ever get their bike started.
The thing is in this day and age there are mostly guys
that own motorcycles because it is the "IN THING" to
do, or it is the "COOL" thing to do, or it is to keep up
with the Jones thing to do...
There is even the "SOCIAL CLUB" group of riders out
there that only ride to bars, restaurants, pool halls or
other hang outs and then ride home. Those people
mostly ride Goldwings or Harleys, not all, but most!
Theres nothing wrong with all of the above groups of
motorcycle owners, I know alot of people that fit in
those groups of owners and most are very nice people.
The group I fit into is the true hard core motorcyclest/
biker group which eats,sleeps,breaths motorcycles
24/7 365 and truly loves to "ride" motorcycles. This
group is still riding for the adventure of finding those
places most people never find in their lives because
they just don't get out enough or far enough to find
them. There just isn't to many of those people left in
this group of motorcyclests/bikers any more in this
day and age

There forpeople like meride mostly alone now days
which is all good IMO"
Let me know if you ever want to take that walk on the
Wild Side, you never know, you might find out you like
it!
