I'll be riding from about 10am til 5pm on Sunday.
I have no route picked out and was hoping to hook up with someone if possible.
I'm in Mint Hill/Matthews area of Charlotte.
I'll be checking this post until I leave in the morning.
Gotta small group going to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway today. Thought we'd start just above Ashville and head North. Anyone wanting to go just shout out. Will post meeting place in a few minutes.
Meeting place is Lincolnton NC, Lowes parking lot at 10:45 am. Ride up to BRP then north on parkway. Get off somewhere around Boone or a little further north.
I live about 2 hours from where y'all started so I would have never made it. If I could have I would have been there, I did ride around town for a while today, but nothing like the mountains. Next time I hope we can have a little more than an hour in advance, but I know sometimes it just can't happen (no offense). I'll be rock climbing about 30 miles past Lake Lure next Saturday and will be camping that night.. if anyone wants to ride next Sunday I'll be closer to that area just post on here and we can plan something.\

Just wondering if anyone was getting together around the NC/SC border this Saturday... I would love to get together with someone and ride through some mountains.

I ride the mountains most every weekend all year round so I'm game to show someone around if their game to ride!
The problem normally ends up being no one really does what I call riding any more, if you can handel 4 to 800 miles for a day ride I'm your man, if not enjoy your ride
My shop/cell # is 704-236-2885.
Warning: I ride from sun up to sun down, I do not start my rides at 10 or 11 AM when the best part of the riding day is already over like most do now days!
I rode about 1300 miles this weekend, you had my number
if you wanted to ride"
The problem is I don't ride just to clock miles, I like to ride and stop to goof around a bit and then continue on. When I think I'm up for riding 1300 miles in a weekend ill give you a ring.
