I'll be in Scottsdale next week for work and I just found out I'll have a day or two free and clear. I'm thinking about renting a bike for a day. Can anyone recommend a place to rent from? Also, any places I should ride to? Thanks!
First off, I'm not sure if you have ever been here. If you haven't, and you rent a bike you might as well find a real estate agent that will ride from house to house because you will never leave.
I think Scottsdale Harley rents bikes. I know the Harley dealer in Mesa does but never checked up in Scottsdale for rentals. I would prefer grabbing the rental from a Harley shop just so I know it won't break down.
For riding it's hard to beat Salt River Canyon from Globe to Show Low or 89/89A, Wickenburg to Prescott to Jerome to Sedona to Oak Creek Canyon to Flagstaff - though the traffic getting through Sedona can be a bitch sometimes.

Thanks for double checking that Joe. 89A going through Jerome is awesome if there isn't a lot of traffic. I'll be on that later today. Short ride out east by the salt river Bush highway run is always fun but the curves only last a couple of miles there.
The weather is amazing, any ride right now is a good one if you aren't stuck in traffic.
