What is the best and most scenic way to get to phoenix from yuma?

AZ95 north to Quartzsite, I10 east to AZ60 east (just a few miles), Thru Brenda (neat old run down gas station/motel just before town - check out the map in fromt w no interstate highways), Salome (good restaurant) to Wickenburg (lots of watering holes), then AZ 60 into Phoenix (northwest side). Certainly not the most direct route & adds time & miles. US Yuma Proving Grounds & Kofa National Wildlife Refuge just north of Yuma.

Depends on where your destination is. If its north phoenix, the route above is your best bet. If your going to Chandler or Mesa, you might look at going through Gila Bend, then over to Maricopa and then north into Chandler. The highway between Gila Bend and I10 is a race track, not patroled too much and speeds can range from 90 to 100, and you need to watch out for the semitrucks.
